Někdy koncem sedmdesátých let se v dobovém tisku objevila zpráva o nešťastné události, že do rybníka v Jizerských horách udeřil kulový blesk. Zabil tam místního doktora. Ten se zrovna koupal. Prý na něm nebylo nic poznat. Jen byl mrtvý.
Ball lightning
Sometime in the late 1970s, a report appeared in the press about an unfortunate event in which ball lightning struck a pond in the Jizera Mountains. It killed a local doctor who was swimming there. Apparently, there were no visible signs of injury. He was just dead.
